15TH ANNIVERSARY MESSAGE FROM CHAIRMAN
SPCS Consultancy was inaugurated on 27 July 2006. This month marks our 15-year milestone.
Over the years, we have remained steadfast in our mission to provide former SPF & Home Team officers with job opportunities that tap on their unique safety and security skillsets.
We believe that law enforcement officers have the knowledge and skills to continue contributing to the safety and security of the nation, even after retirement. That is why we continue to invest in upskilling our consultants, equipping them with professional certification and cutting edge skills to meet the demands of our business environment.
As a result, we have been able to expand our business significantly since 2006. Apart from organising training seminars & visits by foreign police officers from China, India, and the Middle East, SPCS Consultancy also secured consulting projects in Fiji, Abu Dhabi and Mauritius.
Closer to home, we won competitive tenders for driver testing, marksmanship instruction and assessment for security officers. Our core business has expanded to include curriculum development and assessment, interview techniques training, managing disciplinary investigations and security consultancy & audits.
As part of our growth strategy, we have invested in digitalisation and other tech transformation efforts to remain lean and effective in a challenging business environment.
Thanks to the contributions of our consultants and our pioneer boards and staff, SPCS today comprises 4 full time staff, over 50 full time contract staff and more than 30 part time contract staff engaged in various training, consultancy, and ad-hoc projects. Our operating revenue grew steadily from $400,000 in 2010 to $2.2 million in 2020.
Looking ahead, we will continue to build on the strength of our experience and expertise, and bring about positive change, greater safety and security to the communities in which we work and live.
